Perfect make-up in just 5 minutes – Yes, it’s possible!
Hello, my darlings!
Are you always in a hurry? You have a hustle life where lack of time is a permanent issue, you’re always out of breath and have no minutes to spare (especially in the morning)? Are you annoyed by the lack of time for the make-up and hair? I hurry with help and my perfect method for 5-minutes make-up. Seriously, no kidding. 5 minutes and your make-up will be ready. Want to try it out?
Perfect 5-minutes make-up – step by step
1. Prepare the skin
No make-up will look good without it, especially not the one made in a hurry. That is why, once you get up, wipe the skin with a toner, wash the face with gentle foam or gel, use a good day cream. If your skin is dull, fatigued and suffers from dark circles under eyes – tap in some brightening cream. There is also a special undereye elixir that reflects the light and most brands have it in their offer. It can perfectly replace an undereye concealer while providing the skin with high-quality care.
2. Concealer – only if necessary
Do you have any imperfections on your face? Apply some concealer and tap it in with your finger so that it blends with the skin. Do not use too much though so that it wouldn’t stand out or look like stains on the face. I use concealer only when I absolutely have to. I don’t like to weigh down the skin with it and I skip the undereye concealer altogether (all that tapping so that it can look natural… nah). If you suffer from quite significant circles under eyes, just place an ice cube, chilled spoon or slices of cucumber over them. Problem solved in just a moment.
3. Loose foundation for the face
It’s perfection! This option is great for everyone who is in a hurry in the morning. The foundation can be mineral but not necessarily. I love it! This product can be affordable and super-efficient. Just spill a bit of it to the lid and dip the powder brush in it, then rub in the skin in a circular motion. It is the best method for loose foundation application that I know. Try it and not only the effect will surprise you but also the time you can spare. I assess it will take a little over a minute. Yeah, really!
4. Loose powder
My skin after loose foundation looks amazing, but if you up for it you can also add some loose translucent powder. The best ones are natural powders such as rice or bamboo. It ensures mattified and satin-smooth skin for hours. What is more, it will limit sebum secretion and skin shine.
5. Amazing brows
It’s a part of the face that for me takes the most time – a minute for each brow. I outline the contour with a brow pencil then fill it in with subtle lines. Lastly, I comb brows with a brush, especially in the top part (upper line) so that it wouldn’t stand out too much because then it does not look natural.
6. Pencil instead of eyeshadow
When I’m really in a hurry, I do not apply the eyeshadow. I like to brighten the look by bringing some highlight to the inner eye corners so that my eyes look fresh and rested. The perfect product for it is a matte beige pencil. You can put it in your handbag and do the eyelid make-up on the go. 🙂
7. Precise mascara
Last but not least, we have a mascara. I don’t do any lip make-up, just apply some colorless lip balm to moisturize my lips. However, my mascara needs to be flawless. It needs to perfectly separate, make lashes longer and thicker, but without the spider legs effect. The wand must be amazing and the mascara itself long-lasting but also easy to remove so I don’t have to waste too much time during the removal either. If you look for a really good mascara, you must try Lashcode, which at the same time conditions lashes and stimulates their growth. Brilliant!
That’s about it. Was it 5 minutes? It probably took you more than that to read this post 🙂 Let me know how much time this make-up takes for you and whether you have any ideas for fast make-up.
